Branding & Advertising Playstation’s Finest Titles

A very creative and collaborative brand building partnership

The premier Playstation titles are amongst the most anticipated releases of the year, in any industry. Our relationship with the gaming giants has seen us play an important role in branding and advertising some of its most exciting titles in recent years. We’ve worked with the Playstation teams to create a brand identity and visual language for each game, building anticipation and engaging a global audience.




The Order 1886

Ahead of the biggest Playstation gaming event in history, ‘Creative Group’ at SCEA (Playstation) and Ready at Dawn Studios (in partnership with Santa Monica Studios) approached us with the prospect of working together to launch a new title that sets a new standard for video games. Our task was to define the brand identity and design a visual style that brings the same degree of realism as The Order 1886 does, without revealing too much about the title. Working collaboratively with SCEA and Ready at Dawn Studios, our brand identity and design, including logo design and key art, was a big contribution to the success of the gaming event

Killzone Shadow Fall

The imminent launch of Playstation 4 signaled an opportunity to create some buzz, and ‘Creative Group’ at SCEA (Playstation) and Guerilla Games engaged us to lead a rebrand and design direction effort for their latest release: Killzone Shadow Fall. Building on the existing momentum of the Killzone brand was key. We also left room for the brand to move into new and exciting directions in the future. A significant challenge was working with the game’s expanded storyline. We worked together with the teams to design the logo, concepts, key art, advertising, the 3D models, and assets.

Infamous Second Son

We partnered with the people at Sony Playstation and Sucker Punch to develop key art concepts and the collector's edition packaging for the launch of Infamous: Second Son. The game takes place in Seattle and introduces the new character, Delsin Rowe. We were tasked with exploring a design system and new visual identity for the game, tailored around the hero character and his supernatural powers. Our concepts centered on good versus evil - a central motif of the game - using smoke, ash, glass, and concrete visuals to foreshadow the weaponry and conflict within the game.
